Irondequoit resident, Chamber member, and Town of Irondequoit Supervisor Adam Bello has been named Monroe County clerk on Friday, filling a vacancy left at year's end by the election of Cheryl Dinolfo as county executive. (Dinolfo is also a Chamber member and Irondequoit resident.)
Bello was appointed by Gov. Andrew Cuomo and will serve in the position through the end of the year. Bello will have to seek a full four-year term in November.
Adam Bello has been a tireless advocate for Irondequoit. The Irondequoit Chamber of Commerce has experienced first hand his dedication to local businesses and residents. He is skilled at creating strong partnerships and producing positive results for the whole community. Though Irondequoit residents will find it hard to part with him, the Chamber and the community will work hard to continue the momentum Bello has created for Irondequoit, and will look forward to his leadership at the county level.
From all of us at the Irondequoit Chamber: Adam, we wish you much success and look forward to seeing you show all of Monroe County what you can do.
