The Irondequoit Chamber of Commerce awarded scholarships to three business-major graduating high school students at our Annual Scholarship Luncheon on Tuesday, May 14, 2013.
Haley Biemiller of Eastridge High School, Janelle Baldasarre of Bishop Kearney High School, and Sara Buckbee of Irondequoit High School were honored during the luncheon at Jack’s Place in the presence of their families, their teachers, and a full house of Irondequoit Chamber members.
In addition to the scholarship checks presented by Chamber Board President Bob Spatola and Board Member Judge Joe Genier, New York State Senator Edward O’Brien presented each student with a Certificate of Merit from the New York State Senate.
Jack’s Place donated the luncheon meal and Tasteful Connections donated decadent fudge sampler trays for dessert.
