County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo addressed the Irondequoit Chamber of Commerce for our last luncheon of 2016, on Tuesday, December 13. Dinoflo discussed Monroe County initiatives, and introduced the county's new Director of Economic Development, Jeff Adair.

Dinolfo talked about the coming renovation and revitalization of the airport, a $40 million project that will start in March 2017 and result in 1,000 year-round construction jobs over the next two years. Twenty-first century upgrades will include state-of-the-art technologies for serving hearing impaired visitors.

Another project Dinolfo noted is $23 million secured for capital improvements at Monroe County's top tourist attraction, the Seneca Park Zoo.

Dinolfo answered audience questions about bringing Uber to upstate New York, the airport project, Photonics, a study of the Bay Outlet Bridge, and childcare.

Lastly, County Executive Dinolfo encourages all local business owners to contact her office for feedback on what you need to open, stay open, and prosper in Monroe County.
