Irondequoit Beer Company's Grand Opening Celebration

Oct 20, 2019

The Irondequoit Beer Company, Irondequoit's first craft beer brewery, is having a Grand Opening Celebration on Saturday, October 26th from 4:00pm – 10:00pm. Located at 765 Titus Avenue, the Irondequoit Beer Company has found a home in a renovated barn on the old Vercruysee Farm property. A 2,000 square foot addition holds the brewing equipment, bar and community table seating.

“We are so proud to bring this hidden treasure back to life and we are honored to give Irondequoit their first brewery," said Wendy Nolan, owner of the brewery. The Irondequoit Beer Company is the latest addition to the I-Square Development in Irondequoit. It joins the current Market at ISquare, the Imaginarium, an Art & Science Educational Center and the outdoor stage.

Nate Kester, Head Brewer and Irondequoit resident, has chosen ten perfectly crafted beers for patrons to enjoy on tap. A carefully selected menu also offers local food from Swan Market, Kitchen Verde, Sweet Jude's Bakery and Smokin' Hot Chicks BBQ.

The Summit Federal Credit Union is sponsoring the Grand Opening Celebration. “We are thrilled to have The Summit Federal Credit Union continue our partnership with this exciting event," said Mike Nolan, owner of I-Square. The event will include giveaways, amazing beer and music by the band “Hey Mabel."

“One of the best things about The Summit is that we get to be a part of such great communities," said Mike Vadala, President and CEO of The Summit Federal Credit Union. “We're happy to welcome Irondequoit Beer Company to the neighborhood and know they'll be a positive addition." Vadala added, “The brewery is donating 10% of the Grand Opening's proceeds to the Irondequoit Food Cupboard. It's a perfect example of how we support and care about each other in Irondequoit."
