In honor of National Women's History Month we are proud to highlight some of our Irondequoit Chamber of Commerce women business owners.  This list reflects our current ICC members but there are many successful women throughout our community.  Please help us honor the following women.

Kathryn Seelman, Co-Owner
Kathryn Seelman, West Irondequoit native, is one half of the Seelman duo at Irondequoit Pharmacy. She attended school at the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy where she was named to Phi Lambda Sigma and Member of the Year of the Student Pharmacist Society of the State of New York (SPSSNY). After working for Walgreens, Seelman decided to open her own local pharmacy in her hometown with her husband who is also a pharmacist. Seelman also is the owner of Twelve Corners Apothecary.
Tara LoCastro, Owner
Tara LoCastro is is a general management and business operations executive with enthusiasm for health and wellness and over twenty years of corporate and healthcare leadership experience. Her expertise is in the development of person centered services and access. She has built new healthcare programs, services and start-ups with a passion for leadership and coaching that promotes authentic self-actualization. LoCastro holds an Executive Leadership Certificate from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and Bachelor of Science (BS) in Environmental Management from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) as a member of Beta Gamma Sigma.
Lizz Ortolani, President
Licensed independent insurance agent, Lizz Ortolani, specializes in benefits planning for individuals, sole proprietors, contract workers, retirees, people on Medicare and small businesses. Previously a social worker, connecting people with solutions has always been important to Ortolani. She maintains a license as a Master Social Worker and is also a Registered Yoga Teacher. She serves in board positions at the Shepherd Home, Yoga 4 A Good Hood, and is a volunteer at ROCovery Fitness.
Kelly Bush, Co-Owner
Kelly Bush and her husband Don Bush revitalized the old Reunion Inn renaming it the Union Tavern. Bush has a motto about the inclusive restaurant in the historic Sea Breeze area, "The Union Tavern is a place where everyone is welcome, until you make someone feel unwelcome". It is important to Bush that they provide a safe space for all their guests. The Union Tavern is the Bush's second restaurant location, they also own the Marshall Street Bar & Grill in downtown Rochester. As if that wasn't enough, Bush also owns K&B Consulting helping other small business owners and is one of the founders of the community group BOSSY, offering monthly events, resources for business owners, marketing efforts, and more.
