Join us for our November luncheon as we welcome guest speaker Susan Perry, from the New York region of the United States Census Bureau.
"An estimated $675 Billion in federal funds is distributed each year using Census data. These funds support local infrastructure, education, healthcare, economic development and community services. New York's share of that funding is approximately $73 Billion every year. The decennial Census determines how many representatives each state gets in Congress. Your community benefits the most when it has access to accurate demographic socioeconomic data through an accurate count of population, households and businesses. This program will review the 2020 Census timeline and design, new technologies for the enumeration process and efforts to build partnerships to reach hard-to-count populations" - Susan Perry, Partnership Specialist, U.S. Census Bureau
